Dermal Filler in your Lips CAN Look Natural…

Tuesday, September 1st, 2015
Over time, it’s normal to lose volume in and around your lips. This volume loss occurs naturally as the fat “thins out” and creates lips that look dried, shriveled, turned in, and even “mean”. The fullness that eventually dissipates disturbs facial balance, but can be restored with a simple injectable treatment, such as Juvederm or Restylane.

We are excited about the FDA’s new approval…

Wednesday, August 12th, 2015

There’s an old adage that if you want to know a woman’s real age, look at her hands. That may be less reliable now that the FDA announced its approval today of the first injectible filler for hands.

The injectible, Radiesse, was first cleared by the FDA in 2006 to fill smile lines. It won approval for use in the back of the hands based on a one-year trial of more than 100 patients in several sites around the country. At three months, 98 percent of patients in the study reported improved appearance.

Radiesse is ideal for the area because it’s long lasting and milky or opaque in color which makes it ideal for hiding veins when injected under the skin in a fanning motion. hands

Galderma Receives FDA Approval to Market Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine to Correct Age Related Volume Loss in the Cheek Area

Friday, July 17th, 2015

Want Natural-looking fullness for your cheeks?

You’re in luck!

Restylane® Lyft is now approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for cheek augmentation and the correction of age-related, midface contour deficiencies in patients over the age of 21.

What Is Restylane Lyft? As we age and our faces lose volume, some of us begin to look for ways to regain more structure to our cheeks without surgery. Restylane Lyft is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face.

This is the first and only FDA-approved filler indicated to provide fullness to cheeks and add volume to correct and smooth smile lines (nasolabial folds).

How Does Restylane Lyft work? Over time, the natural fat surrounding the cheeks begins to deteriorate, resulting in a reduction of volume, sagging skin and more prominent wrinkles. Through nonsurgical injections, Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks and midface area, which can result in a natural-looking appearance.
